Today my sister had a friend over just to hang out and when it was dinner time I wondered why my sister’s friend wasn’t eating. “She’s juice fasting for 40 days.” “How long are you fasting?” “I’m not juice fasting.” “What are you fasting then?” She gives a little laugh (probably knowing she’s fasting something completely lame) and says, “books.” Oh my god. This made me really upset inside. “Ew! You haven’t even been reading books.” She tries to say in a convincing voice “Yeah I havvve.” I didn’t talk to her the rest of the dinner and just kept on thinking.

The point of fasting is to give something up and focus of God with your extra time. My sister chose something so meaningless, so easy that she’s almost not fasting at all… She could of did an iPhone fast, a computer fast because she’s on those all the damn time or even a juice fast… If your going to fast, do it right. If you’re not even going to try don’t fast at all.

I don’t know why I’m so mad about this because I’ve stopped going to church but wow. How could the pastor and any of my sister’s friends let her get away with “books.” She’s seriously not giving up anything. I’m going to try to tell her a bit later when her friend is gone… -_-

If I pursue my computer science stuff, I want a job in Canada. I want to move there with my whole family :D Idk exactly why though… All I know is that the people there are nice. I want a really big garden too and I don’t think San Diego has houses like that.

I’ve been telling myself over the past year that I wanted to become a farmer (like for vegetables and stuff) and I think I might start small this year. I’m going to try to turn my house into a greenhouse. Omg I’m so excited to plant stuff. I’m watching videos off youtube how to plant sprouts and stuff. I hope I have enough dedication for this cause I want to eat some of the stuff I grow.

(I’m not literally going to pursue farming as a job, just as a hobby.)

I just finished watching Howl’s Moving Castle and omfg. I think I developed a little crush on Howl. He was funny, cute, a dork, charming, magically powerful, kind, other stuff. Too bad he’s not real or gay. Sleeping in heartache tonight. 

I might be inspired to make a gif of him tomorrow or just download more Hayao Miyazaki films. Here’s my current list of favoritism if you want to watch his films.
